The Lancer Skincare products are the identical products that are offered in our Beverly Hills office. This is the first skin care offered to the general public that offers true therapeutic results because we use only the best, most unique, ingredients.
Because these products are pharmaceutical-grade and physician strength it is important to use them properly. Those with more sensitive skin may benefit from using certain products such as our Vitamin C cream or Glycolic Cream every other day until your skin acclimates to it.

2. Why polish first?
A gentle exfoliation loosens dirt, eliminates dry, dead skin cells, and gives skin that sought after glow. Polishing first allows the other steps in the Lancer Method to work to their maximum potential.
3. What makes your sunscreen different?
Our Antioxidant Sunscreen combines broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection with a free-radical quenching antioxidant blend of Vitamins A, C, E, Co-Q10 and Green Tea. Research indicates that sunscreens work better when combined with antioxidants. A wide variety of antioxidants are used to cover the most reactive oxygen species pathways giving our patients the maximum protection. This formulation is in a moisturizing base and is perfect under makeup.

4. What is the Lancer Liposome?
At the cornerstone of the Lancer Skincare line is the Lancer Liposome Technology. With the Lancer Liposome we can deliver perflurodecalin to the skin. Simply put, perflurodecalin provides oxygenation to the skin. Additionally, a mixture of antioxidants and antioxidant derivatives are added to prevent oxygen radicals from forming. This system is encapsulated into a natural soy phospholipid to ensure the ingredients are delivered to the skin. Oxygen revitalizes and rejuvenates the skin.
5. How does Vitamin C help in collagen production?
One of the first antioxidants to enter the skin care arena, this antioxidant both protects and promotes the collagen layer making it perfect for those wanting a lift. It's amazing how many times we come back to this winning antioxidant.

6. How does glycolic acid work?
This gem was the ingredient that started the cosmeceutical revolution. Glycolic acid (also sometimes listed as Alpha Hydroxy Acid) exfoliates the skin and enhances collagen production. It give you that sought after "glow" and smooth, flawless appearance. When first used this product cause some intermittent tingling or stinging, but as your body becomes accustomed to it will wane. Glycolic acid is a small molecule with the ability to get into tight spaces and rid your skin of unwanted dry, dead skin cells that leave your skin dull.
The Glycolic Acid used in the Lancer Skincare Line is an ultra-pure glycolic acid and incorporates liposome encapsulated antioxidants.
7. What exactly is a peptide?
Peptides such as those found in the AM/PM Nourishment are chemical messengers found naturally in the body, and they instruct the skin to do a certain task. The peptides used in the Lancer Skincare line firm the skin, soften fine lines and wrinkles and stimulate collagen production.
8. Why is it important to keep the skin properly hydrated?
Your skin is your barrier to the outside world. Properly moisturized skin protects and preserves your skin barrier function. A good moisturizer should bring moisture to the skin and keep it locked in.

10. What can users expect?

Yes, all of the products are safe for pregnancy. Our Evening Anti-Aging Serum offered at our office has a high-dose of Vitamin A, which we have put a pregnancy warning on.
14. How soon will I see results?
Skin care is a process, and results are seen over time. However, many report that even after their first use of the polish they feel as if their skin is smoother and softer. Envision skin care like a diet, slow and steady wins the race.
15. Will these products help with the appearance of enlarged pores?
Yes. The appearance of enlarged pores is caused by dirt and debris getting trapped inside the pore and opening it up. The Polish and Glycolic Acid Cream exfoliate the skin and help get rid of the build up in the pore, thereby giving you smaller pores.
16. Do you recommend any type of diet to help with the health of the skin?
Simply put garbage in, garbage out. Drinking fresh distilled water will flush your system of toxins. Fresh fruits and vegetables, along with a diet high in fiber and low in sugar and fat will do wonders to help you look and feel your best. Exercise strengthens your system, tones the body and oxygenates the cells.
17. If I have oily skin, will the Nourish make me break out?
No. All the products are noncomedogenic. Even with oily skin it is critical to keep the skin well hydrated.
18. How much of the product should I use?
Because these products are at physician strengths, only a small amount of product should be used.
19. Does drinking more water really benefit your skin?
Yes, drinking water helps flush the toxins from your system.
20. Are the products safe to use if your allergic to perfumes?
Yes. We use only natural fragrances, not perfumes or scents. In many cases the scent you smell is because of the active ingredients found in the product.
